I remember playing the first game when it came out back in 2008 when I was just a 6-7 year old. I could never complete any of the puzzles, but the art style stuck in my memory for 15 years with me occasionally thinking about the game. Finding them all (with 3 new chapters to play) was so awesome!!
The games themselves are so cool - the puzzles are nice, and the art style is so memorable and unique, I loved the expansion of the world after the 1st game, I loved every location and character and the main character's design. The mechanics of inventory management and the existence of junk items are great,,,
I found myself really immersed in the world of Daymare town, Sea of smoke and deep fog hive&trench,,, Really cool locations and worldbuilding elements!!!
Guy peaking around the corners and running away is (and was since 2008) my favourite
