A nice little narrative horror game touching on the topics of depression and suicide in a surprisingly nuanced way.
Utilising the EDuke32 engine, which I can't say I've seen done very often, the author creates more tone and atmosphere than most developers manage with Unity or Unreal.
Fantastic sound design shows that Zykoveddy is well aware of what drives tension and fear; those things that are left largely to our own imaginations.
[Too often in horror titles once we see the "entity" the tension dissipates; the illusion shatters when the inner workings become apparent.]
Well designed levels keep the player engaged throughout the short twenty minute run time, but there are enough unique moments and gameplay elements to prevent the experience from becoming dull. In fact, the experience still holds up in a second play through.
Highly recommended for people who appreciate a more thoughtful horror experience.
