My favourite game of 2017, NITW is an ambitious story featuring wonderful, rich characters and which pulls no punches about the realities of their situations.

I'm not sure what to say without spoiling it, so here's what I can highlight:

- Great diversity of characters

- The game never gate-keeps content behind skill challenges: there's one such barrier almost immediately to teach you a mechanic, and then after that the game might remember "hey you were TERRIBLE at that" but never uses that to stop you making progress

- The soundtrack is WONDERFUL.

Yeah, favourite game of 2017, and I've replayed it several times already.  Well worth checking out.
