The core gameplay is really solid; I didn't understand how things worked at first, but after 2 levels I started doing pretty well. I use a keyboard and trackball mouse, so I can't Lash, but chaining Head Stomps and Dashes on enemies feels good. I also like how easy it is to distinguish enemies and their states apart.
The only thing I kind of dislike is the level designs. Undergrowth01 has a rail right where you start and can accidentally get stuck on when you jump (since I'm usually inputting a direction while I jump). Undergrowth03 is the main issue for me though. While the other two levels feel small and hectic enough to want to try and chain things constantly, things feel really far apart. Riding a rail to the next enemy and repeating this isn't as enjoyable for me.
Definitely good though, and I hope to see how this continues to progress.
