Felt very shallow. Two irredeemable assholes get murdered by a supernatural being, and it all amounts to...what, exactly? Who are these characters? Why do they act the way they do? Where does this story take place and did that contribute to the villains' sense of toxic masculinity? Without anything deeper behind it, this felt more like some kind of revenge fantasy than an actual story.
