A browser game made in HTML5.

Interesting game. I was always on edge which is good for a horror game. I think it was a tad bit confusing as to what was happening. I understand that the player used the shotgun on themselves, but I don't quite get the why they chose to do this. I do understand that the news reporter said to trust no one not even him, but I don't see the direct connection to how the player took in that message. It lacks the explanation that the player is super afraid or paranoid about the news they tune into. I felt some connection in that I definitely was paranoid something was out to get me but, it didn't have quite make it clear that the player is paranoid to the point they'd not trust themselves(hence why they decided to shoot who they do). I think overall the scare-factor is built into this game well. The watching tv home alone and the repetitive actions of checking windows and the door do make you fear the outside, however, I don't think it's made clear that the player feels that extreme fear to the point of not trusting themselves. Thank you for making the game! It was still a fun experience.
