Like what you've made and a lot of effort has gone into it for your first game. Holding the point until a press a button to meow feature is added :) 

But seriously liked the game, think with a couple of tweaks to movement and sounds, and maybe the characters along the way reacting to the cat it could be even better. Love the retro feel as well...
