I'm really digging the story so far. 

Lexi's personality kind of ruins it for me in the beginning. I kind of wish Lexi and Kaylee were flipped. As in Kaylee was the one we had to protect. As of right now for me at least Lexi feels like a genuine brat in a way that's not attractive at all others probably won't feel this way. 

Chelsea feels a bit unnecessary. 

If Laura wasn't so unjustly mean I would prefer her. I get the sense that there is a really nice and attractive personality within her but right now she feels more like a gold digger than anything again, others may not feel this way. If she is a gold digger getting back with her and making her regret how she was treating him would be interesting.
