I really enjoyed my time with this game.  It reminded me of final fantasy legends on gameboy. The start of the game is slow both narratively and gemplay-wise. However, if you tough it out for a few hours, you end finding a lot of depth in the classes. I was also a fan of the dungeons. I didn't get into the story until the mid-game; I was fully on board by the endgame.  The backup team was interesting, though I never ended up using it. The music was decent, but don't expect Nobuo Uematsu-tier. Overall, I don't regret dropping 40+ hours on this one, especially considering the price.
