A browser game made in HTML5.

Damn, you are making me feel bad with how good this is

So first thing first. I love the presentation and art

(especially the princess)

The ambient sounds are quite nice and the little sound effects really ad to it (although I found the stepping sound quite unusual)

I like the concept and I am sure if this where a full game you could go into way greater detail with the whole abandoned princess plot.

The sight lines are fair but a bit further than one would expect .

But now I need to get to my biggest "problem" with the game, it is quite "trial and error" focused.

What do I mean by that?

Well the first couple of attempts were always focused on running around in the level figuring out where everything was and getting caught repeatedly. This wasn't really a problem in the earlier stages but it got increasingly worse in the later stages.

Running through the same labyrinth over and over again was not fun.

The fun only came once I was ready for the "real" attempts, once I had all the information I needed. This might be due to the fact that you already knew all the level lay outs and enemy paths.

I am not suggesting you give the player everything but if you guys were to develop this idea further a simple map with the princesses position on it would be welcome.

Maybe you could integrate it with the plot or something.

Please keep in mind this is a suggestion from someone who doesn't know your intentions behind the game.

Overall I would give it a 4/5 but because it's made in such a short time frame it's more like a 6/5
