This an absolute delight to read, I like the way equipment generation is handled and the banana rule is a hoot, and I love the 'compete-the- sentence-tables for scenario/event generation and what's more even the typeface used is evocative of the sci-fi setting. I can already imagine player monkeys lamenting that they got assigned to Danger Station and not Tranquil Station during the game.
