sneakyfletcher rated HEARTBEAT

A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

So far only played the demo and will go back to get the tickets I'm missing before copying my save file to the full game's folder.

First of all, let's acknowledge that the art style just DRAWS you in I mean DANG! you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover but dude! c'mon look at that and tell it isn't just the nicest and makes you want to look at it for hours.

It has got an interesting and engaging story. The battle system is very familiar but the use of PULSE and BEAT makes it just that bit unique.

To be honest I bought it especially because of the art style I just couldn't help it, until I heard the soundtrack. The music is made to emulate what you'd find in your SNES or Gameboy game but it doesn't fall flat or come off as slacking, it can be real cheerful and upbeat and really brings the whole art style to life.

It's a good game you should try it, can't wait for the steam launch.
