An incredibly well written, moody and dark fairy/horror tale which was created for a game jam with very specific rules: 
1000 words (so it's a short story)

1 sound effect (which is used perfectly)

The story is very lyrical, so it really feels like an old tale that was shared at the bonfire. It leaves enough room for interpretation without being too vague and it's creepy in all the right places.
