There's a system here, and it presents itself with, like, a mechanical frame, but honestly it's "here's 36 fictional edible plants; tell me what you'd make from a randomized subset of them" and it's exactly what I want

Given that, it lives and dies by its plant descriptions and they are Very Good I would read three more books like this and still probably want more
