This is an interesting project which was adapted from an old Choose-Your-Own-Adventure story.  The original illustration works well for the Playdate.  I definitely would like to see more adventure style games like this for the Playdate.

If you know the exact path to get through this game, it doesn't take very long (probably 10-15 minutes), but the real challenge is discovering the proper path that will lead you to the end.  This story has more deaths than your typical Sierra game had back in the 80s!  I just wish there was a Save system so I wouldn't have to replay from the start after every death.

The added music is a great touch for this game.

A couple of the English translations are off (e.g. "mass of carrier" should probably just say "mace"), but it is understandable.  It's too bad I'm not fluent in French since the premise of the story is interesting, based off of the original 1978 story "Le Simorgh".
