This game does the Metroidvania formula well with a good sized world to explore and many power-ups and collectibles to obtain. 

Some of the enemies feel cheap, with little way to avoid taking damage from them when you first encounter them, leading to some frustration. But come late game, your better weapons and abilities can trivialize most of the game's opponents. 

Overall, a good experience. I 100% completed the game within two or three hours.
