I don't even know where to begin. Errant Kingdom has Completely turned me off to Lunaris Games and I doubt I'll purchase another game from them. Since I bought this 2+ years ago, before it was fully finished, and was unable to get a refund after the Abysmal progression/delays/lack of genuine communication, I decided to update and download it again upon seeing it was finally 'finished'. I had hoped all that time would equate this game being worth something in the end: What I - and fans like me - got was a watered down production with a Terrible last two parts that were clearly rushed for the sake of getting it out there. Riddled with typos, sprites that didn't show up, incoherent plot holes and just -- gosh, it was like reading a bad fanfic. Like, despite the solid first 4 parts (that were still ghosts of the original with magic options and alignments removed, for example), someone was brought in and told to 'wing it' for the latter bits + finale. That this was even released and then 'patched'... how are the devs not ashamed of themselves? How can they still request $20? How can they say they're proud of -- this? I can't begin to tell you how heartbreaking it is to actually be invested in this game: these characters and romances -- to get through the terrible production issues -- and to be given such an insult in return. The characters deserved better; the story deserved better - and you could see remnants of what the full plot likely was, which made it all the more excruciating. This game is not worth - any amount of money in my opinion and I would never recommend it. Slim as the chance may be (and I certainly won't stick around to see it): perhaps one day Lunaris will actually come back to EK, give it the time and love it deserves, and deliver what always should have been to those who invested money, time and hope into it.
