A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

I am at a loss for words on what a marvel of an experience this game was.

I'd initially decided to play it (due to having forgotten what games I had in my backlog) but I certainly was not expecting to have spent 3+ hours on such a sincere story driven game!

The designs are simple and memorable, the colour schemes were moody, the choice in music was just right and the writing from the atmosphere and humor was just right up my alley!

The moment I realised I had become so invested and attached to these characters on this railway ride, was the scene on top of said train. I have a big fondness for mystery, so coming across an unexpected turn of events was a pleasant delight! (Although Doppler is easily my personal favourite, I would have simply gone for the alternative ending first pick, if it had been a thing lol)

I truly believe there are stories and media that can be life changing when it enters someone's life at the right moment. Having that reminder, that glimpse of hope... I can tell that this is one of those moments for me with Midnight on the Milky Way.

I'm at a point of my life, wondering whether it is best to simply give up when it feels so hopeless and that nothing has changed... But that simply isn't the case. And witnessing Fog Face and Shahin go through their own struggles by getting caught up emotionally and mentally that they can't recognise what they've achieve, really resonated with me!

Playing through the game helped remind me on why I love Visual Novels, and it certainly helped that I adore Night on the Galactic Railroad. I'll be thinking of this game fondly in years to come!
