I want to like this game because the battle gameplay is very unique and fun. But the RPG aspect of it leaves a whole lot to be desired. Between the lack of UI explaining and tooltips, it's hard to tell what you need to keep in your inventory and what can be sold. Couple that with the vastness of combining items and not being told what needs to be literally dropped from your inventory just to complete puzzles makes the average player miss out on a lot of content.
In short, the RPG suffers from "too many buttons" and possibilities as it struggles from too much content and not enough clarity.
The puzzle gameplay is super fun and replayable. Would love to experience more of that.
