I've only been playing for about three days now, all on the same journey, and it's been a wonderful time of both worldbuilding and character discovery. My recommendation is taking an established character, perhaps an NPC if you're writing for a TTRPG or a regularly occurring background character if you're writing for a book, through the Journey with you. The impact of a singular character on the space that you embark through in this game can be so incredibly impactful to the story you end up telling and the things you learn. Not only could you explore completely and vastly different ideas with the same Waypoints and Aspects drawn just with a different setting, but even with the same setting and a different character. A simple to follow but unique little game that really scratches the itch of the boundless worldbuilder and writer. I've never liked Journaling until Journeying.
