I got 5 players together (with varying familiarity with Discworld) for a 1-shot and we all had a great time. None of us had played a No Dice / No Masters game before but found this very easy to get into.

The prompts and picklists were very evocative and gave us great inspiration for our stories and to get our scenes rolling. The online character keeper was well done and indispensable. I was nervous about No Dice / No Masters over Zoom but using the spreadsheet made it quite straightforward.

As a huge Discworld fan I loved seeing the inspiration and hints in this game but also appreciated how the playbooks expand far beyond the source material, so it doesn’t feel constrained at all with a need to know the books or want to play them out specifically.

We did a 1-shot but talked afterwards that we could easily keep going with our characters and setting. South Omensburg had many more stories to tell.
