Very neat little game. Lots of BE even if it is very whimsical. The best thing about the game is that it's a real game. It's reminiscent of a top-down dark souls where you have to kite your enemies and pick your moments to ready an attack.
I know it's by design but the way that the player character slides around constantly is very annoying. It's servicable in most of the game since there's nothing for you to get stuck on but it's never appreciated. Similarly I recognise that the attack is supposed to be clunky but I feel it could be tweaked to be less restrictive and the game would still be rewarding to play.
My biggest complaint is the conveyance of the game. You get two tutorial rocks at the start of the game and literally zero other instruction. I was able to figure out what I was supposed to do in the game but the game could really do with a *little* more direction given to the player to set them up to understand the world and their mission.
Overall, solid but definitely well within the 4, of the 4/5 stars.
