Ri Marbh rated Bunny Hunter

Ri Marbh rated a Bunny Hunter 3 years ago
A downloadable Bunny Hunter for Windows.

I would like to rate the game higher, but the many bugs of the game mean a lower score. I did enjoy the time that I played the game. It was on the shorter side (which was nice), I enjoyed the characters, and the story was alright. The puzzles were a bit simple at times, but I enjoyed them nonetheless.

Now the dreaded bugs. There are the ones that are already known and stated that could not be fixed, so I'll skip over them. The bug that annoyed the most was the collision. Some objects were inconstant, making it possible to walk through it in one area, but not another. Also, the path would be blocked sometimes when there seemed to be nothing in the way, the bridge area was the worst.

More rapid fire bugs now. Jackalope's second scene could not be repeated. The infinite stun caused an early game over, and made late game bosses too easy. The warp portal to the Goddess' Sanctuary in the new home could cause damage.

I am sorry, but my critics are not over. I would like again to say that I enjoyed my time playing, I look forward to your future games, and I hope you have success. Now on to non-bug critics. I found the elemental integration to the combat to be lacking. I couldn't tell if what element would do more damage to a type of creature, and I didn't ever feel the need to build my time around what element they could use. The lack of a gallery as well was a bit frustrating. There being no simple way to see scenes back to back, look at the illustration items, and/or see past scenes (like the first time Orange transformed) felt like a missed opportunity. I think the lack of a gallery would make me less likely to revisit the game in the future, unless I want to do another full playthrough. If there was a gallery, I feel like I may hope back the game for an hour or so, to look back at all the progress that I had done.

Thank you again for your hard work, I look forward to your future projects.
