Really liked this one, despite having to look up a walkthrough at certain points. You wrote a really good story! As someone who's completely against empire I can't say I have high hopes for Empress Love, but I think you've managed to really show the complexities of empires and their bloody histories while still maintaining a really tight story!

Gameplay-wise, this was a bit of a mixed bag for me. I didn't like that locations were arbitrarily locked away until the story called for them to be available - it kind of weakened the world model for me. The puzzles were often fair and easy, but I did end up with a few cases where what I was supposed to do was kind of obfuscated by the space fantasy flavor of writing. Overall though, a lot of it was sensible and was just the right difficulty to get me thinking deeper about what to do.
