Arlo the Rabbit is clearly inspired by the Kirby series, and what it does with it is a wonderful experience. It’s simple and easy to pick up, with multiple routes through levels and an easy-going difficulty. Combat is intuitive and fun; and the game doesn’t overstay it’s welcome either. I would love to see more unique-to-world mechanics in future installments; as well as a second phase to the final boss, as the end feels a bit abrupt, but all and all a solid game, especially for the price.
