You know a game is good when I struggle to find flaws in it. Mutazione is gentle, It is deep, it doesn’t shy away from dark topics, and makes sure to treat them with depth. The Characters are distinct and lovable, the art blows me away with it’s clean aesthetic.
These are the issues I have with the game. 1; Miu sometimes blends into the background when she’s sitting down. 2; At the beginning of the game it can be a bit rough, because you aren’t familiar with Kai’s character, and might feel railroaded. This gets better as the game goes on.

These however are tiny nitpicks at this game, because the rest of it is SOLID. The Gardening has a surprising amount of variety and depth, and is full of relaxing possibilities. The humor is on point, the story heartwrenching, and the world fascinating.

Is it worth it?: Yes. This game is moving, and has a message. Go at your own pace. Explore.
