Haven't played too far into it, but yeah, it's another Earthbound clone (maybe Mother 1 specifically?) Earthbound, but with a strong lean towards full body inflation.
Like, 100% Earthbound, it's got all the little musical quirks and everything.
Gotta ding the game a little for the really poor English and the fact you get to watch the same recolored full-body inflation scene play out over and over and over again, with slight differences in the clothes they wear.

As for being an actual game, I don't know, the RPG part of it is really weak since there's no equipment or levels (so far?) and so all combat runs at the same speed with the same handful of enemies, and there's no way to speed it up (like Mother 3's combo system), which is awful since the RNG in combat means you can be 2-3 shot, or get paralyzed and combo'd to death while you're waiting to recover, or fighting two enemies at once and getting bad luck with RNG and making you die in 1-2 turns from full health.
A side effect of the combat system: you're always low on health, and being low on health is a death sentence, so after every fight, you have to activate your bag, use the healing balloon in there, save, then continue, which gets really tedious after each fight.

Pretty likely I'll just cheat the game for infinite stats or infinite health to speed it up, the gameplay itself isn't very good and I just want to hurry up and get to more inflation content, TBH.

I would drop the score to 3 stars, but it's got a lot of soul (even if the "soul" is literally just Earthbound with a new coat of paint), so I'll keep it up at 4. Imagine a 3.5, if you will.
