The decisions in this felt important- the gravity of a son trying to get to his father in time hit me very early on. Depending on how you go, something of this feels like running desperately through a looping nightmare, the kind where the hallways just seem to get longer,  and just when you think it's over you're right back at the beginning with the sense that you're constantly running out of time. Maybe that is one of the most impressive parts of this story- there isn't a single clock or timer the whole time, and yet every choice I made felt like it had the sound of seconds ticking on in the background, and I only knew when I got to the end if I had made it in time or not.
On the other side of the coin, reaching the endings, and the little snippet after the time skip, was like getting out of a dark tunnel, something hopeful, even. I think this was especially true where, in the first time I reached the hospital, it was too late. The up until the second time I got there, I just about held my breath, and I only let it go when Luke had the chance to speak to his father.

Overall this is beautifully written and somewhat bittersweet, and every word and interaction sat poignantly in my chest.
