I always love the stories that Fiendish Fiction puts out and this game is no exception, but I was especially enthralled by the deep fantasy world they began the process of building in this game. The Spider Goddess who weaves the web of fate, and those that are touched by her who can see the webs and affect them; the beauty and, presumably, danger of the Luminous Plains; the vast number of mythological creatures that inhabit the world... all of these are works of art.

Another place this game really shines is the vast soundtrack with incredibly unique, yet consistently fitting, music. I loved the setar especially, further accentuating the background of the titular Manticore.

Fuck it I already spoiled something, so go big or go home... AND THAT ROMANCE SCENE THO... MmmmmMMMM.
