I got to run this as a Halloween one-shot for my group and we had the best time playing. Creating characters from our cringiest 90's memories, remembering the weird mall culture of middle America, and then letting sublime body horror spread itself out across all that nostalgia produced an incredible night of play.

My players appreciated the Whisper Cards the most. They're usually terrible with keeping secrets from each other, but not only did this give them actionable ways to stay motivated, the glee in their eye when they got REPLACED is something I'll never forget. 

As Facilitator it was a pleasure to run. Like the best horror, it only fills in the gaps it needs to, letting the imagination run wild in the spaces between. And if that imagination falters even for a second, there's always the DOOM Clock that's driving the action forward, constantly challenging the players to come up with new solutions to stay alive. 

And when death happens, and it will happen, it was cinematic, memorable. The ending was dark, but a great time was had.
