Skeletris is a somewhat simple dungeon crawler that incorporates the central mechanic of inventory management with Tetris-like pieces. Although it's best for one to simply see for themself, it essentially allows the skeleton friend to power up in different ways, namely by equipping different weapons and by slotting in artifacts around it. It operates somewhat like Backpack Hero this way, which I also enjoy.
The story is excellently written! All of the pieces of lore fit together well, and are easy to understand. I especially liked how it develops throughout the game. The art style also does what it needs to, and the game looks nice as a result of the black-and-white and color being combined effectively.
On some of the larger floors, I found an NPC or two that I wanted to save for later. I would be curious as to how fast travel would work for cases like this. I imagine that it can operate similar to Dead Cells in that there are shortcuts near helpers and other points of interest. Apart from that, I only saw each of the NPCs once, and wonder how the game would play if they showed up more often to allow one's build to be more dynamic.
Lastly, I took a liking to the music pieces that I heard in the game. Although the music loops are somewhat short, they don't overstay their welcome, either.
In summary, I definitely enjoy the formula that Skeletris has, and would most likely play more games like this that build upon it (more bosses, inventory mechanics, ways to modify artifacts, etc.). As it is, however, Skeletris is a very competent short game, and I can confidently recommend it to others!
(Also, my favorite boss was the fourth one. It felt very climactic. )
