While this story is not for everyone, I will say that this is one of the only visual novels in my life that I've ever finished (and they can all be counted on one hand!). It's a bit slow to pick up but it's deeply thought-provoking about how to be aware of other people's perspectives, especially the second half, and sympathy for those suffering from chronic pain of pretty much any kind. Don't get diabetes, folks!
The writing is phenomenal. I only wish that magic was mentioned more explicitly at least once an anywhere in the story as a tool to assist the child in living solo, because it'd be literally impossible for her to do so in any realistic setting, even with her best farming efforts.

Lastly, it takes too long for manuscripts to show up in the middle of the screen. If possible, it'd be great if the VN would dim the background and show the manuscript at the same time; right now, it does one after another, which doubles the time it takes to show up.
