I saw this was for spooktober and while I wasn't spooked, I did like the somber atmosphere and almost dissociated sense, especially with how Yuri feels disconnected with the world around her which probably is the reason why she can't connect with people (that and her mother could also be the main culprit). I love the backgrounds, the scratchy chalky blackboard style made me think this is how Yuri sees the world, empty and negative, especially with how the only person to have a sprite is Hima and nobody else, not even her mother has a sprite (maybe it's a limitation but I'm gonna take it in stride HAHAHA). Anyway, I also like how when we see Hima, we already get a sense of what's going on with her home-life but in Ending 1 where she turns around and we see the bruises litter her skin feels like a punch in the gut, especially with how Hima or Yuri don't explicity acknowledge it, Hima just shows it to us and we can only look at her because it's the validation to what we thought of her.
I'm still glad that they got the happy ending where they run off to Tokyo (ngl I felt broken when I read the words run away to Tokyo because of that ONE DAMN VN) but either way, to see how much Hima is glowing and Yuri is just relaxed, best ending for them! Great job to everyone involved for this visual novel!
