The writing is pretty good and clever. It certainly can get tiring over time, specially since there aren't that many images to aid the immersion. Although that is understandable since the game appears to be on its early stages.  Also there are some continuity issues sometimes when speaking to characters in camp, they may repeat some things, this is pretty small but putting extra checks could ease the flow of dialog and also add to the immersion. There are some bugs, the slime companion appeared 4 times to me, a rollback screen appeared once, etc.

The scope of the story appears pretty big, so I would caution the author about how they will approach it, if they try to tackle it too fast the quality overall with most likely drop, unless he wants to really delay the game. Maybe splitting the game into parts could be good.

Overall pretty good game, very much going to follow closely. I did stop midway the content since it kinda bored me. Maybe increasing the progression speed could be good (maybe you reach the first town faster, no need to discard the stages, maybe move them after the town), maybe a earlier change of scenery and some bigger plot points happening at the same time that you progress your personal relationship could help with that feeling of grinding.

The quality of the writing did surprise me and is what kept me interested, both the characters and the banter is pretty good and made me laugh several times.
