(Spoilers) Holy goddamn that was a ride, maybe I'm just a sucker for clowns, maybe I'm just a sucker for 2D clickers, but along with all that this game legit had me slightly jittering in anxiety.

Those poor clowns, I didn't want to hurt them at all but I knew I was going to have to if I were to progress and that sense of dread can be something very hard to find in a short browser game, especially with the sudden jump from cutesy vibrant characters to brooding ones with semi-realistic touches

not to mention the fact that you can see hints at the backstories of the characters in the paintings behind some of them! small details such as the little introduction boards changing as you click through them once the dark part of the game sets in just really made this an experience I was happy to go through

Bonus points for having an ending where you actually escape as well! Usually you see a game like this ending with the player being trapped forever, and while there's nothing wrong with that (I love bleakness as much as the next horror fan) I like to be surprised by the sense of relief you can get from your escape!
