This game is aesthetically and atmospherically great, but gameplaywise not very enjoyable. I love exploration, but it drags on a lot before getting to the gameplay part, which ends up being poorly designed; shooting with tank controls and fixed camera is never fun even though I like tank controls and fixed camera, and it really didn't help that the first enemy didn't appear to react to my bullets. I had to activate cheats in order to feel like I was doing anything, and then once I passed that enemy and later enemies did actually react to my bullets I found I couldn't turn the cheats off which was disappointing. But I came to realise it seemed impossible to have beaten without cheats anyway. While the experience definitely needs work mechanically, you have built a great world and I'd love to see more of that aspect.
