The stylistic choices in this game, from the music, to all of the exceptional graphic-novel style sprites and CGs, and even to the transition screens that show up for only one time, all show an incredible amount of time, thought, and love put into it. 

The writing is good at adjusting to the mood and the characters are mostly pretty enjoyable and realistic.
