I'm not sure if it's the shared experience of online friendships that it feels like all of us have had, or if it's something more personal: This hits home in a way I wasn't expecting.
It's hard to exist so far apart from someone and yet so close. 
And somehow even harder when those relationships fall apart.
Like you said, distance measured in time zones.
Weird how the anonymity of the screen allows so much honesty.
