Very cool and simple idea, I really liked it.
I was also very pleased with the implementation of the interface as part of the gameplay. I was very attracted to minutes, so I barely added one minute while the enemies clung to the seconds. The design of the enemies is also quite interesting. While focused on the timer, I didn't notice that a portal had quietly appeared in the corner of the room, constantly creating a bunch of squares! Good variety of enemy types.
In the web version, I once accidentally got it so that the shot worked only when the shot button was pressed, and not when the shot button was held. I even missed the Game Over screen because of the clicks. On restart everything was fine.
Glad you did it on Godot, very excited to explore your project and learn something new!
