I'll just throw my review over here:
A beautiful game! It's very atmospheric and intriguing and made for enjoyable reading.
The player character as well as their (very) suspicious companion and their world felt well thought out and I got a lot of enjoyment out of trying to puzzle together their past and who they were.
The overall themes, felt pretty dark with the occasional glimmer of hope and humor. The trigger warnings right at the start were very useful for me though.
I cried (but I admit I'm also built very close to the water) and at one point towards the end my savefiles were all just called some variatons of "happy end?", "happy end pls?" XD, but that's just a mark of how effective and good the writing is.
Another thing pointing toward this is that when trying to quickly summarise the plot to one of my friends, I sounded like a lunatic speaking in tounges and they immediately wanted to try the game for themselves.
I played the unpatched version and encountered no mayor bugs except the one (now fixed - i believe) issue where your savefiles become invisible but I stopped for a second and then honestly thought it was a feature, not a bug, since it happened immediately after I got the dialouge about needing to be an empty cup to be filled. I usually obsessively save and reload sooo, essentially I got a bug that enhanced my experience of the game. win - win
also, the art is gorgeous :D
