A nice, slow game to play and relax. The letters are incredibly well written, the books you can get are as well. Some of those letters will stick with me for a long, long time. The game is beautiful, and it's a big improvement from "Where The Goats Are", even though I loved that game as well.
I loved the gameplay and really enjoyed taking care of plants, trading with the merchant, tending to the goats, collecting mushrooms, and learning as much as I could about the outside world through letters and bits of books.
As things got worse and worse in the world, I felt the terror that Talma and her family must've experienced. Dread loomed everywhere, and I felt bad seeing the farm come to ruins.
I have a few complaints, but it's more just my personal preferences in games. Walking was very slow, it took forever to go to the other places to hear Talma's memories about them and collect mushrooms. The days felt very short, and I felt rushed to do everything in the amount of time I had. It was a struggle sometimes to collect mushrooms, eggs, cheese, and plants before the merchant came. Despite this, I still loved the game. I can't wait to see what comes next.
