Well, I started off my work with the Unity 3D course today. I can already tell I like the 3D space a bit less than the 2D space; I think its just the familiarity of a 3D editor. I played about a little with 3D modelling in the past, but found it quite overwhelming, so hopefully just a hang up from then. I built a simple game with some obstacles, found that movement in the 3D space wasn't that much more intimidating than the 2D space. Methods like MoveTowards() took out the fear of trying to work out the 3D world for me.
I am about to start the first 'real' project of the course now, it will likely take me a couple of days to get through the 5+ hours of lectures it has.
