Day 3 - UI Based Quiz

Day 3 - Making a UI Based Quiz

I actually found this project to be really satisfying as I could see how this is giving me the fundamentals for making the sorts of games I love to play, with tactical layers built into UIs. I also found it incredibly frustrating in the way that the instructor addressed bugs in the game - I play test as I go, something that was encouraged earlier in the course, however this new instructor would do 'all the things', introduce bugs, and only mention them much later in the video - which often left me hunting around for fixes, looking for areas in my code I'd messed up, etc. He also had a tendency to say different syntax from what he actually typed, which, when I alt-tab away from the video to VS Code messed me up more than once.

Other than that - really useful part of the course. Learned a whole lot which will definitely come in useful later.

The whole UI suite I got to play with - canvases, TextMeshPro, buttons and sliders. Creating a visual timer was particularly satisfying. I really liked the use of the slider as a progress bar, wonder if they would be easy to manipulate as resource bars of various kinds.

Use of public methods in this project was also super useful for getting used to understanding C# and how it worked
