cold conflict devlog 15

This is the 15th Devlog for Cold Conflict.

As a whole, we believe that the project went fairly smoothly with only a few bumps occurring. Some initial plans were not cut because they were a bit ambitious. However, overall we believe the game turned out fairly well and plays how we want it to.

We learnt many thing whilst making this project including the importance of visual clarity in game  whether it is through UI or enemy models and map layouts. We had multiple issues regarding clarity that playtesters experienced during playtests that we later fixed and improved upon.

We would like to say that most of the things in game went well but if he had to pick out anything in particular it would probably be the movement and the shooting system in game. We think it turned out to be very fluid and smooth and we enjoyed how the sliding system incorporated together with the physics.

There are multiple things that we can try doing in the future that's different. One thing that's would definitely do differently next time is manage the project more and allocate the time better for when we are doing our next project. Time has been a massive issue during the development stage of the project.
