Welcome everyone to week 7 of my AAA game development blog.
As stated in last weeks blog post, this week I worked on a Damage chart for the dagger weapon. With this document I used a template provided by a team mate, In this document I went through all the damage variables for the dagger weapon and explained how the weapon should work. This document can be found here.
This was quite challenging due to me not being a mechanic or system designer which I assume this task was meant for, I had to cross examine old documents and put the information into template provided. I also had to decide how far the weapon would reach, which required me going in game and evaluating the environments to see if the range of the weapon would be balanced.
