Adding a sub-product

I was reading through the documentation on sub-products, but it doesn't actually mention HOW to add them to begin with. Where do I need to go, or what button do I have to click in order to add a sub-product to one of my games? I am planning on eventually making much larger games with purchasable expansions and would like to know how to add them here on Itch.

Can you please point me at this documentation? I can't seem to find it anywhere in the FAQ. Where does it say that Itch can handle sub-products?

https://itch.io/docs/api/sub-products

And there is also this blog post that mentions it: https://itch.io/blog/105823/return-of-the-itchio-changelog-markdown-sub-prducts-...

And that blog posts says:

Deployed initial version of a system for sub-products (DLC, in-app purchases, etc.). (admin only)

It's experimental. That's why you won't find it elsewhere in the FAQ.

So, it isn't currently available to the public?

Indeed not.

When will it be?

I don't know. Maybe support can tell you, but in my experience our dev team doesn't like to make promises like that

OK
