It's good, but the end...

Everything is perfect expect the end, it's awkward the name but I think that is it..

Hi Spooneystone,

I took a look at the trailer, here’s my feedback based on my first impression of it:

  • The names of the characters disappear too quickly, almost as if the video does not expect me to read them all. I also didn’t have enough time to read the name and look at the characters (to make the connection).

  • The animations look fun, the music ties in together, the graphics look pretty awesome for an indie game.

  • The title of the game would look better if it had a logo with it, and a “custom” font, or some custom graphic for it. This would not only introduce users to the title of the game, but also would give them a taste of the graphics and design the game has to offer.

  • The title of the game gets bigger and bigger until part of it goes out of the screen. I’m not sure if that’s a good idea, would prefer if the whole title was always readable.

  • To some extend, I enjoyed the video, but it gave me no clue as to what the game is about. Judging from the graphics, I assume part of the game is already implemented? If that’s the case I would strongly suggest to include some footage of gameplay at a minimum.

  • The title of the video would be much better if it had the game’s title. I’m not sure of Youtube’s rules on profanity, so that’s up to you. Random users would me more likely to click on a video where they know what they are about to watch (to some extend at least).

That’s all I could think. I like the graphics and the animations, and think this has potential. Although I’d have to admin I assumed this is for a video game, even on this post here there is no indication of that, so it would be useful to mention it on a few places.

Also on your post you linked to the Itch.io dashboard. That link is different for each user, as it links to their own dashboard and not yours. Did you mean to provide a link to the game instead?

Keep in mind all the above points are my own opinion.

Spot on feedback. Thanks for putting in the time.

That link takes me to my Creator Dashboard. Why is that in the post?

Don't know why it was there. Must of accidently done it. Thanks
