Hi!
I'm an art director who started working in game dev a little over three years ago. My first projects started in Unity and while I have yet to fully "ship" a game, I've gathered a considerable amount of knowledge on a wide variety of game genres and workflows (as well as Unity's strengths and weaknesses.)
I've also gathered a lot of assets.
A lot.
In fact I probably own almost every popular (and unpopular) asset on the Unity Asset Store thanks to various sales and my own obsessive software hoarding tendencies. Everyone has a vice they say. Some folks do drugs or gamble. I apparently buy assets.
Why is that of any importance? Well, because I can start practically any type of game from RPG to FPS to adventure to visual novel to match three to MMO to well, you get the idea. I have probably attempted nearly every genre so far as well and have been pretty good at getting various systems to integrate then tack on details.
So far, my biggest hurdle has been following up my ideas with consistent, clear narratives, story lines and objectives. In other words, I can execute most concepts, set them up, get them looking nice but then get bogged down with indecision on where to go next.
My most developed project is a horror adventure game which you can see on my itch developer page. I have a general plot, story details and some game systems already laid out but need further narrative development and story. So, I'd like to collaborate with any writers, narrative designers or general idea folks who have come up with full stories and outlined project ideas but need someone to put their ideas to use.
My coding is not so great yet but I'm capable of fixing/splicing/gluing code, getting pre-built assets and systems to work, integrating things, etc. I turn to visual coding when necessary for more complex stuff.
As previously mentioned I'm an art director with decades of experience in almost every visual arts category. So, I've got most visual stuff covered. I can handle most 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, animation, lighting, etc. I'm capable of 2D stuff as well.
You can see examples of my visual experiments on my IG and Twitter:

I should stress that this is merely a hobby for me at the moment that I do in my limited spare time outside of my day job. My projects are not intended as money makers and I offer no paying roles currently. However, if something ends up being worth selling I'd be more than happy to split revenue equally or pay for services rendered of course.
So, if you're interested in teaming up or have an idea you'd like to see come alive, let me know!
