games wont install after i delete the save files in the games folder

Hello, i know this is a rather unusual subject but when i want to restart a game i thought i'd delete all the save files in the internal games folder. When i tried re-installing the game there would be no presentation of like, "this game is such and such MB and your storage is such and such GB" it was all blank, and if i clicked install it'd just close the tab and say "An error occurred  during installation. Cannot read property 'Build' or undefined" and the only things i can click are ("details for nerds") and close. Any help ?

Deleting part of the game’s data is a very bad idea, as generally a game does not expect this behavior and could have undefined results.

If you want to delete your saved progress in a game, it is best to find a way to do it from within the game. Most games (at least should) allow a way to delete progress or start new. If it does not, then you could bring it up to the developer.

The only exception I can think is if a game explicitly mentions what the save file is, or even better prompts the user to select where to save the progress in their filesystem (outside the game folder). That usually hints that the save file is not dependent to the rest of the game and can be deleted without issues.

Sooo.....have i permanently screwed those games or is there a way to fix it ?

Hello ?, Dark. is there a way to fix it ??

Like say, if there's an update will i be able to install that version and the problem will be resolved or what should i do ?
