How to find receipt.json file for previously downloaded games?

I'm new to Itch and after I downloaded 40 games I only just realized there was an app. I've also noticed there's apparently a long-standing issue of previously-downloaded games not showing up on the app. Reading what little I could find, the "receipt.json" file seems to be what allows the games to be recognized? I can't find any of these files in their directories, nor could I find any info on how to generate them if they're missing, so I'm assuming they're available online somewhere. Where can I find them for each game? Is it somewhere on the game download page that I'm just not seeing? Thanks for any help.

If you login with your account through the app, it should show all purchased games there, it would just ask you to re-download them (but it would remember you’ve bought them). An exception would be the big bundle that Itch had a few months back, I’m not aware of the details, but it had some special handling.

If you login with the same account that bought a game, and it doesn’t show as bought in the app, it sounds like a bug to me.
